The UNO Curling Club has qualified to compete at the USA Curling Collegiate National Championships! 🥌
This would be the first time ever UNO sends a curling team to Nationals, an exciting milestone for the club and a huge step forward for growing the sport on campus 🏆
By attending Nationals, UNO Curling would be in the spotlight, giving us the chance to reach new audiences, bring more students onto the ice, and build lasting excitement around curling at UNO.
Currently, the 2025–2026 season has been a major success in growing the sport on the Omaha campus.
Program Growth & Impact:
🥌 Increased active membership from 4 to 14 consistent members (2025)
🥌 Expanded the club’s social media presence and student outreach (2025)
🥌 Average 13k UNO student impressions per post
🥌 Competed in the club’s first out-of-state collegiate bonspiel (tournament) in Minnesota (2025)
🥌 Engaged 250+ students through campus tabling and outreach events (2025)
Recent Competitive Success:
🥌 Qualified for 2025–2026 College Curling National Championship (2025–2026)
🥌 Won the Aksarben College League, qualifying for the Aksarben Championship Tournament (2024)
🥌 Finished one position away from qualifying for the Collegiate National Championship (2023, 2024)
