Cornhusker Marching Band Preseason Camp
We’re raising $10,000 to provide two additional box lunches for every band member during camp.
Fueling "The Pride of All Nebraska" 🥁
Every August, as temperatures climb and anticipation for a new season builds, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Cornhusker Marching Band comes together for two energizing weeks of preseason camp. From sunrise rehearsals to long afternoons on the field, these talented students devote themselves to perfecting the music, precision, and spirit that define Nebraska traditions.
Band camp is a major commitment of time, effort, and expense, but it’s also where friendships form, confidence grows, and the foundation for an incredible season is built.
During these busy, high-energy days, one of the highlights for students is something simple, yet meaningful: a special box lunch provided during camp. It’s more than just a meal—it’s a moment to pause, connect, and recharge together in the middle of a packed schedule.

Thanks to the generosity of a dedicated donor, this tradition is already part of the camp experience. Now, we have the opportunity to make it even more impactful.
Join the Challenge: Our lead donor is inviting others to join in and help extend this meaningful tradition. Together, we can provide more of these moments that remind students they are supported, appreciated, and part of something bigger.
When the Cornhusker Marching Band takes the field this fall, they’ll carry with them not only their hard work—but also the encouragement of a community that showed up for them.
Help us add more moments of connection, energy, and appreciation—give today.
