Support UNMC Medical Students Every Step of the Way
Help create meaningful experiences and provide resources that remind students they have a community cheering them on.

About the Campaign
Becoming a physician is a long and demanding journey—and no student should have to navigate it alone.
The UNMC College of Medicine Parents and Family Association (PFA) brings parents, families, alumni and the College of Medicine community together to support medical students throughout their journey.
Since 2005, the PFA has helped create meaningful experiences and provided resources that remind students they have a community cheering them on.
Your gift helps make important moments possible, including:
đź”´ Family Day and Couples Night Out during Orientation Week, helping students and their loved ones build connections from the very beginning.
🔴The M1 End-of-Year Celebration, giving first-year students a chance to pause, celebrate and reflect on how far they’ve come.
đź”´ M4 Match Day, a milestone that celebrates years of hard work and the exciting next chapter ahead.
đź”´ Student wellness activities that support students beyond the classroom.
đź”´ Equipment for the Sorrell Clinical Simulation Lab, helping students prepare for their future as physicians.

Your support makes these moments possible.
Whether you’re the parent of a current medical student, a family member, friend, alumnus or simply someone who believes in supporting the next generation of physicians, your gift can make a difference.
A gift of $25, $50, $100 or an amount meaningful to you helps the PFA continue supporting UNMC medical students and creating experiences they’ll remember long after medical school.
Give today and help make the journey a little more connected, supported and celebrated for UNMC medical students.
