Celebrate 150 Years!

Fraternity and sorority life has a rich, longstanding history at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. With the first chapter founded in 1875, this year marks the 150th anniversary of fraternity and sorority life at UNL, and you are invited to celebrate with us!

Over these 150 years, our students have benefited from the community’s commitment to scholarships, leadership, service and community engagement. Currently, there are more than 50 chapters serving more than 4,300 students, representing 23% of the undergraduate student population.

Husker students greatly benefit from joining a fraternity or sorority: improved academic outcomes, community engagement both on and off campus, leadership opportunities and so much more. Ultimately, our students engage in experiences and build relationships that will propel them toward success in life and their future careers.

We invite you to join our celebration by making a gift today. Your contribution supports both current and future students while ensuring fraternity and sorority life continues serving students for the next 150 years!
